Genre Commissions

Cut were awarded a special 'Genre Commission' to make 6 documentaries. We were approached because we provide the assurances of professionally finished short films alongside quality outcomes for young people. We have a demonstrable track record in delivering high quality participatory filmmaking projects for young people aged 5 to 19.

 

 

 

'If Only'

It's best to talk to young people about matters of great importance, they always have the answers - let's hope the politicians listen! This little film was played at the Climate Coalition Parliamentary Event.

 

 

 

Scout Project

We worked with Lincolnshire Scouts to facilitate 16 films, working across the second largest county in the country!

'Something in the Air' was nominated for Nominated for Best Film: 12 and Under. News reports describe accounts of mysterious sightings, unusual behaviour and strange activity around the cabbage fields in Lincolnshire. Meanwhile a young person has been held captive in quarantine for a number of years. His only contact with the outside world is a stuffed bird called Jim. Two kids, intrigued by the isolated buildings, decide to investigate. They have absolutely no idea what awaits them! Filmmakers aged 10-14
The very first Into Film Awards ceremony were held at the world famous Empire, Leicester Square. This hugely exciting and prestigious national event showcased and celebrates young people’s talent and creativity, and film’s unique power to inspire them.
